Functions available for the external role accounts:

Create external role account

Steps

  1. Submit a request in accordance with the details in Create external role account.

  2. The platform validates the request.

  3. The platform creates the ExternalPersonalIdentity.

Take special care to set up the role account as platform-managed. See description of ‘managed’ in ExternalRoleAccount.

  1. The platform creates the external role account.

  2. The platform activates the identity.

  3. The platform returns the created ExternalRoleAccount.

 

 

Update external role account

When you update first name, last name or state in an external role account, the corresponding information is also updated in the linked external personal identity behind the role account.

Steps

  1. Submit a request in accordance with the details in  Update external role account.

  2. The platform validates the request by verifying, among other things:

    1. that the role account status change is allowed.

  3. The platform updates the external role account.

  4. The platform returns the updated ExternalRoleAccount.



 

 

Get external role account

Steps

  1. Submit a request in accordance with the details in Get external role account.

  2. The platform validates the request.

  3. The platform retrieves the external role account.

  4. The platform returns the ExternalRoleAccount.
